What's My Line? is one of the first long-running shows Goodson-Todman had made. It was all a hit....thanks to this host. More on him once I return.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dC6GtKraxKE

We asked you are you getting Buzzr on Dish Network and you said you already have it. So we'll have another one after I tell you about John Charles Daly.

He once started on NBC Radio and later went into CBS radio as White House correspondent.

After reporting on historical events, he did some panel and hosting work on game shows. But What's My Line? was his signature show.

He is known for his formal style and lasted until Steve Allen took over the program in 1967. He died in 1991. He was also a news anchor for ABC and did "It's News To Me." And that's John Charles Daly.

Now, I wanna know what John is known for. I'll give you 2 weeks to think on it.

Buzzr is hitting its stride as a national television digital subchannnel and with more affiliates in tow, the folks at Fremantle decied to take a big step. More on that once I return.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dC6GtKraxKE

We told you which GT show associated with Alex Trebek you liked and the clear winner is Classic Concentration. Something Buzzr wished they had. We'll have another one after we tell you about the story we're talking about.

(Song stops)

FremantleMedia has struck a distribution deal with Dish that gives Buzzr, its retro game show network, national reach.

Dish distribution puts Buzzr, whose programming includes Family Feud, Let’s Make a Deal and Match Game, in every DMA in the country, FremantleMedia said. The multicast network also has a presence in Canada, where Yes TV airs a Buzzr After Hours programming block.

Buzzr’s newly expanded reach comes as the network hits its second anniversary. Its programming slate is built around more than 40,000 classic game show episodes owned by FremantleMedia North America.

What does this mean? It means that the competition to AT&T's Directv's GSN is about to get better.

So the Buzzr Beater question means are you going to get Buzzr on Dish Network? It's a 2-week time limit to do it.

Well here we are. Year 1 of Buzzr is drawing to a close. But before the year is up....it's time to do our yearly Buzzr Superlatives. Let's begin.

We start with....Most Likely to act funnier......The Match Game writers.

Most Likely to call out a motley Crew.....

Least Likely to Work for the IRS.....

Most Likely to buy those......if you're an adult.....

Class clown of the year.....

Sharpest man of the year.....

Least likely to mess up.....Match Game 1973.

And most likely to be choir teacher.....Gene Rayburn.

Unfortunately, it goes to our Game Show Live! bonus round blonde bombsell Christa Nannos. SHe's got something to sing. Christa?

Thanks. I feel so much better.

Best known for his long running association with Merv Griffin, Alex Trebek has done things since 1973 when he set foot in America. But after I return, his association with Goodson-Todman.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dC6GtKraxKE

The Buzzr Beater had a choice of which What's My Line? panelist and Arlene Francis gets it in a close one. Nice job, people. Now on to Alex Trebek.

(song stops)

His association began in 1977 with Double Dare.....

Um....no not that one........

Thank you. It helped Jay Wolpert get his career in making his own company. He also took in as participant in a tournament of game show hosts once on Card Sharks.

The latter of which had the same theme Double Dare once did when it went to NBC. By 1987, he brought Concentration back.

And in 1990, he was one of the hosts on To Tell The Truth.

But he will always be the host of Jeopardy!

now the buzzr Beater question wants to know which show with Alex is better. I will give you 2 weeks to do it.

When it comes to What's my Line? Panelists, you think of this person and she.....is no exception. More on her when I return.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dC6GtKraxKE

The Buzzr Beater explained which Bill Cullen show you liked and Blockbusters turned out to be the winner. We'll have another one after I tell you about....Arlene Francis.

(song stops)

Arlene Francis was born in New York. An actress and host, she was one of the first female hosts in game show history with Blind Date.

She has appeared on Password....

And Match Game.

But she is and will always be.....the queen of What's My Line?

Even in syndication, she can still do it.

So that's the 411 on Arlene Francis. Now comes the buzzr beater question: Which of the 2 female What's My Line? Panelists is your favorite? Think about that in 2 weeks time.

Game show hosts back in the day were legends. One of them is a real legend. Prepare to get schooled on Bill Cullen when I return.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dC6GtKraxKE

The Buzzr Beater told you which Monty Hall show you liked and LMAD won by a shutout. Very awesome! Now on to Bill Cullen.

Bill's association with Goodson-Todman began with WInner Take All in the early fifties....

But he was the very first host of TPIR.....

He was a panelist on I've got a Secret....

In fact, he was host of the 1976 edition.

He was even a panelist on To Tell The Truth.

His last G-T show was Child's Play in 1982.

But in all, he IS......a game show legend.

And here comes the Buzzr Beater question. Which G-T show by Bill Cullen is your favroite? You get a 2 week limit to do it.

If TPIR had Bob Barker, then LMAD had this man. More on him once I return.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dC6GtKraxKE

The Buzzr Beater wanted to know which brother do you like best and in a close one, Tom Kennedy was the winner. Nice job guys. We'll have another one after I tell you about Monty Hall.

(song stops)

Born In Canada, Monty went to America to do things like....

And Video Village.

But by 1962....

He did LMAD until 1976 and made it a signature show. He was the only man who worked for Goodson-Todman with this in 1979.....

But he returned in 1980 and 1984 with new LMAD revivals.....

In fact he did in 1990 and appeared in later reivials. Wayne Brady carries the tradition since 2009 but Monty Hall does it better.

Now comes the Buzzr beater question. What is your favorite Monty Hall show. I'll give you 2 weeks to think on it.
