We asked you which format of Trivia Trap did you like and it was a dead heat. Maybe another one will give it to you after I tell you about Choose Up Sides.

Although it was short-lived, Choose up Sides first came on CBS with Bob Kennedy hosting and had a ring toss for points, before moving things over to NBC with Gene Rayburn hosting.

Both versions had the Bronco Busters and the Space Pilots do battle. This time the loser of the stunt got a chance to earn points from Mr. Mischief voiced by announcer Don Pardo.  The stunt was timed by a baloon about to go pop when it stopped abruptly. There was a Super Duper Doo stunt each month for a bonus prize. This turned into sportsmanship in the fifties at that time.

Now comes the Buzzr beater question. Which side would you be on if you played Choose up Sides? WE'll give you 2 weeks to figure that one out.

That my friends, is it.  anything you question or comment goes to me on social media or email and we'll explain. We will see you all @ The.....................

Welcome to @ The Buzzr. In 1984, ABC wanted the next best thing. What was it? More on that once I return.

Now we reveal which show are you looking forward to for Lost & Found Week and Trivia Trap won in a close one. And speaking of Trivia Trap......

Dateline, October 1984. ABC aired Trivia Trap and it starred Bob Eubanks in his first outing with Mark Goodson Productions and Edd Kalehoff scored the music for it. The teams consisted of Juniors who are under the age of 30 and Seniors who are one day past their 30th birthday. The first format dealt with 3 wrong answers to weed out while 1 of course is the right answer. That's the trivia trap.

Pretty soon after the all-star week which was with Jayne Meadows, Betty White, Bill Cullen and others, the format was flipped around when the first round was fact or fiction and 2 packets were used to determine if its true or false. One of the statements is used when Bob told the home audience at the show's start. The next was the trivia trap round in which one person picked the answer and the other teammates must agree or disagree to pick the real answer.

After this was the $1000 Race in which a team picks a question from 3 subjects and teammates have to answer quickly to reach the goal of $1000. After this, the winning team had to try for $10,000 by climbing the ladder in which wrong answers eliminate a player.

It went up against Price and Wheel but got clobbered until it was replaced in April 1985 with All-Star Blitz. But nonetheless Bob would team with Mark again for Card Sharks.

Now the Buzzr Beater poll question. Which Trivia Trap format did you like best? 2 weeks will be the limit for it.
