Family Feud was at an all time high in 1977, that ABC decided to follow suit with a somewhat related follow up involving both sexes. I'll tell you about it once I return.
We asked you were you excited for Classic Concentration coming back and you all agreed. We've got another one after I tell you about...The Better Sex.
Dividing the battle between Men and Women, the show featured Bill Anderson manning the men and Sarah Purcell doing the same to the women. The Objective is to fool the opposing sex by bluffing to trivia questions and doing so knocked 2 out. Othewise, the opposing team tries to do the same plus 1 from the team. Knocking them all out got $1000 and a chance at $5000 by knocking 30 members of the opposing sex from the audience. Any members after 6 questions still standing will divide $500. Although it was short lived, it was about the only time Sarah Purcell hosted a game show.
And speaking of hosts, Which one was your favorite? You get 2 weeks to think it over.
