Paula Rhodes: Supposedly going live from Periscope Plaza where there is free white van parking except on observed holidays, it's @ The Buzzr. Now here he is, the master of everything buzz, the man with the instant bargins, Pierre.......KELLY!

Me: And it's time to make a silent night turn noisy on @ The Buzzr where the calmness is a storm of classic game shows. On this edition.......

Something is tempting.

Let's all flip the birds to the 2007 game show Temptation. A syndicated offering that tried to be like our next game show, but didn't come close especially its contestant pool. That show....

Back in the 60's, Al Howard created this program hosted by Joe Garigiola and Jack Kelly on NBC. After it was canned the next decade, austrailan media mogul Reg Grundy acquired the rights to the program in his country and by 1983, it joined one of 4 new game shows on the NBC lineup. That was also the year the TPIR game Plinko gave birth. Jim Perry kept the suspense going until 1989 and the syndicated version only ran from 1985-86. When I return, we'll tell you how the game goes.

Sticking with Jim Perry, our Buzzr Beater question asked you which show did you like? Well, a shut out happened and it's both. That & Card Sharks. We'll have another query when I'm done talking about $ale, and we'll get back to it right now.

It begins and continues in portions as a quiz show. Start at $20 and you get or lose $5 for every answer. Plus, there are instant bargins along the way. Take this clip for example.

Jim can sometimes tempt you with cash. Plus, there is an $ale surprise if at any point the outcome happens. The Fame Game gives you a Who Am I? Incorrect and the other players will get a chance for cash, prizes or a money card booster. That all ends with this.....

And if you come out on top, you can try one of 3 bonus round starting with the most recent.

The Winner's Big Money Game had you answering 4 puzzles in 20 ticks. Here's why.

2nd most recent was the game board that asked you to match a prize with a win card....

And the earliest of course was the shopping portion in which you had to look at all the stuff and decide you wanted to take something or return for more.

And that pretty much is $ale of the Century. But this Buzzr Beater question on the right side of your blog wants you to know this for pretend. Would you take the car, the Geek Fuel subscription or the lot among others? 2 weeks to decide it and we'll have the results on our next show.

That's all the time we got. Thanks for talking about a Reg Grundy creation. With more viewers on our FB fan page, we've got lots of love Rossi Morreale couldn't get 8 years ago.  If there is any questions about the show, or would like to suggest a show or a host, please reach me on Facebook at : Pierre Jason Kelly, or @Johnny_Arcade on Twitter and we'll explain. Until then, it's PK signing off and we'll see you.....@ The.....
